Above: This 10-slide presentation shares some quick tips and ideas on "Realtime" Trends for Conferences.
I put together this quick presentation for the March 30th #smchat. I thought realtime trends for conferences would be a great topic for discussion after hearing complaints from attendees of the Social Business Conference in London. Many attendees lamented not having a Twitter Backchannel or someone to bring virtual questions and feedback to the speakers. The crowd suggested a moderator to support virtual attendees. Another good point raised was that organizers should compile a Twitter list of speakers' usernames for all to follow--a great idea!
Tonia Ries of The Realtime Report and other conferences goes one step further and asks attendees to add their twitter usernames to her conference website.  She also curates a live feed on her site with Feedlytics!
Read about the ideas shared and Tonia's expert views in the following transcript. We covered realtime conference ideas for organizers, speakers, exhibitors and attendees. What are your realtime tips for conferences?
